My Company

Hey everyone i hope we are all going well in the subject and best wishes for Assignment 1 step 3-6. Here is a little spill about my company Qube Logistics, i hope you enjoy the read and any questions let me know.

Qube Logistics is Australia’s largest integrated provider of import and export logistics services with over 160 locations throughout Australia, New Zealand and South-East Asia, the company has a work force of over 8,200 employees and market capitalisation of approximately $4.8 billion as of June 2022. Qube is broken down into two core divisions which are the Operating Division and the companies 50% interest in Patrick Terminals, which is Australia’s most dominant container terminal operator.

The operating division part of the business comprises of two business units which are Qube Logistics & Infrastructure along with Qube Ports & Bulks. The company’s logistics operation covers aspects such as road and rail transport, warehousing and distribution, container parks and related services and international freight forwarding. The infrastructure sector covers ownership and operation of key terminals such as; Automotive terminals (Brisbane and Melbourne), Grain Terminals (Quattro and Newcastle) and Rail terminals (Moorebank).

Qube was formed in July 2006 and reached enormous heights to this present day with also admitted to the official ASX list on the 22 August 2011. The current share price of Qube Limited on the ASX of 15th December 2023 is $3.20.

Before receiving Qube Logistics for my Assignment I had never heard of this company, which surprised me once reading about the company and realizing how big and important hey are in Australia. Once reading their website and about their company I discovered how important this company is to trades and services throughout Australia, New Zealand and South-East Asia. Qube Logistics has grown from 30 sites in 2007 to over 160 at the present day.
