Hey ACCT11059 peers :)

Hey everyone,

So here we go first time ever blogging, wish me luck :) I'm Sam Bennett, 33 year old male from the sunny Gold Coast, Australia. For some crazy reason I decided to enrol into university in July at the age of 33 and attempt to complete a 3 year Bachelor of Property degree. It's the first time I have really studied since finishing school 15 years ago and starting to realise It's a lot harder than first thought, I've just completed my first term and now attacking Accounting, Learning and Online Communication.

I recently spent 10 years in the Hospitality industry where I grew in myself and become an outgoing person, learning to work with others in a team. Studying online definitely has it's challenges as I miss the face to face interaction normal studying brings. I'm looking forward to meeting and interacting with other students in my cohort who are in the same rocking boat as myself, as I finish writing my first blog my 3 year old son is climbing over me so puts in perspective life I guess ay haha.
